Microchipping Print E-mail

A microchip is your pets permanent form of identification. The tiny chip is the size of a small rice grain which contains a unique ID number with your address and contact information, which is connected to a national registry.

A microchip is your pets best chance of getting home to you. Even pets that never go out much can become lost. Simple things like a gate blowing open, a visitor or tradesman leaving a door open or being frightened in a storm can all lead to sudden loss. Often collars or tags are missing, unreadable or out of date making it impossible to identify them if they do not have a microchip.

Your pet can be identified anywhere in Australia 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

For a one off cost of $61.00 your pet is registered and protected for life. It is very simple and easy to perform – one quick injection by your vet and its done. Please phone us if you have any further queries about microchipping.
